Cathy Ann Keizer, (74), of Raleigh, NC peacefully passed away on July 26, 2021. She was the daughter of the late Shirley B. and John W. Keizer. Cathy was born October 9, 1946, in Kingston, NY. She was a product of Catholic education. Cathy graduated from the Academy of St. Ursula in 1964 and The Benedictine School of Nursing in Kingston, NY in 1967.

Cathy was a registered nurse and served forty years caring for children at both Columbia University Medical Center Babies Hospital in New York City and Duke Children’s Hospital in Durham, NC. Cathy was an avid advocate for children. She dedicated her life to making their lives better. She also loved and was a supporter of the NYC Ballet.

She was preceded in death by parents. Her life will forever be cherished in the lives of her sister, Susan Keizer Greiner; brother-in-law, Gary F. Greiner; niece, Jessica Greiner Lowe (Timothy S. Lowe); grandnephew, Cade Lowe; grandniece, Kennedy Lowe all of Raleigh, NC; and niece, Alison E. Greiner of Wilmington, NC.

Cathy will be dearly missed by all who knew her.

A Memorial Mass will be held at St. Francis of Assisi on Wednesday, August 4, 2021 at 2:00 p.m.
