Obituary For Carroll Mack Grigsby

Carroll Mack Grigsby of Raleigh passed away suddenly on September 7, 2013. He was born in Detroit, Michigan, to the late Carroll Caldwell Grigsby and the late Lorchen Mack Grigsby. Carroll graduated from Wayne State University with a degree in Mechanical Engineering in January 1961. He and his family moved to Raleigh in July 1966. Carroll was retired from Schrader Bellows in Wake Forest and a long-time member of Grace Lutheran Church. He enjoyed his grandchildren and the Tar Heels. He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Nancy Naragon Grigsby; his daughter Alice Grigsby of Raleigh; son David Grigsby and wife Judy of Raleigh; daughter Susan Grigsby Mynatt and husband David of Cypress, Texas; grandchildren Andrew Steckenrider; Will and Christine Grigsby; Bill, Katie, Claire, and Virginia Mynatt; sister Marilyn Geno and husband Ken of Rockland, Massachusetts; brother-in-law Richard Naragon and wife Judy of Lincoln, California. The funeral will take place at Grace Lutheran Church, 5010 Six Forks Road, Raleigh, on Friday, September 13, at 2 p.m. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Grace Lutheran Church Memorial Fund; or North Raleigh MinistriesÃ¢â?¬â?¢ Food Pantry (9650 Strickland Road, Suite 161, Raleigh 27615).

Even though I did not know Grigsby personally, I really wanted to express my condolences to you and your family. Gods word the bible speaks of a time when death will be a thing of the past. Revelation 21:3, 4 is a comforting scripture that I wanted to share with you during your time of sadness.
