To Carol a beloved friend for 44 years. Through many years 0f ups and downs Carol always remained positive. She always had a funny comment and a great spirit. We stayed in touch all these years and visited in just about everywhere Carol called home. My husband and I are both cradle Catholics and have prayed for Carol for many years. We were delighted when Carol let us know she was becoming Catholic. I think because of a dream she had she felt that whatever way her life would go she was accepting. She will be greatly missed. We know that someday we will all be together in a much better place. May Carol rest in peace. All our love, Dr Alex and Irene Manning

Carol was one of my first dental patients when I opened my practice here in Raleigh. She has stayed a very faithful and loyal friend since then. I was privileged to know Carol and her whole family, and loved watching the kids grow up. My wife, Nancy, and I will miss seeing Carol. I wish we could have been there to see her family this evening. We pray that she rests in peace and hope that her family finds comfort in knowing that her life had meaning and fulfillment. We will miss her very much. Dr Jim and Nancy Harold Raleigh

Carol was a role model for all the nurses she worked with. We all went to her when we needed advice or help. She inspired us with her strength and determination and we will miss her greatly! Prayers to her family and all that were privileged enough to know and love her!
