Carol Lee Blakeney, 81, of Raleigh, NC, formerly of North Myrtle Beach, SC passed away Monday, November 13, 2017 at home.

Daughter to the late Argyle and Nell McIntyre in Enterprise West Va, Carol was born September 19, 1936, the youngest of seven children. She graduated from Shinston High School and attended St. Mary’s Nursing School in Huntington, West Va.

Carol is predeceased by her first husband Alfred Eisenacher, second husband Gordon Blakeney, sisters Ida Odgen & Alene Corely and brothers, Argyle McIntyre Jr, James McIntyre, & Donald McIntyre.

Carol is survived by her son Karl Eisenacher and Claire Overfield of Clover, SC, daughter Susan Eisenacher-Coss and Craig Coss of Raleigh, NC, brother Jackson McIntyre of West Va and many loved nieces and nephews. Carol was an avid game player and particularly fond of bridge. She will be dearly missed at the bridge table.

Funeral Mass will be held in the Chapel at St. Raphael the Archangel Catholic Church, 5801 Falls of Neuse Road, Raleigh, NC at 11:00am, Friday, November 17, 2017.

In lieu of flowers, her family would like donations made to Transitions LifeCare (founded as Hospice of Wake County).
