***In lieu of any cards or flowers we ask that an honorary gift be donated in her name to DogTown, USA which is a sanctuary for abandoned and abused animals and is the largest no-kill animal sanctuary in the world. Donations in Carols honor can be made at www.bestfriends.org.

Carol was born April 23, 1944 in Baltimore, Maryland, and passed away on November 22, 2017.

She is the beloved daughter of Bruce and Thelma Biggs. She was a loving Sister and is survived by her brother Robert Biggs and her Sister-In-Law Wendy, their children Scott and Robert Biggs, and their families. Carol will be incredibly missed by her three daughters; Leigh Jacobs Meyer, Keri Jacobs Dunnavant and Jodi Jacobs Butler. She was a wonderful and loving grandmother to Vanessa Ann Herrera, Krystal Henson, Bailey, Laine, Aiden and Paige Butler. She was also blessed with three beautiful great grand children, Madisyn Nicole Henson, Jeffrey Camilo Herrera and his little sister Olivia Mary, who will all miss her dearly.

She was our best friend, confidant, advisor and matriarch. She had a passion for rescue dogs above all else, dedicating her time, her love and her home to those that needed her the most. In addition to her selfless dedication to animals, she also spent hours each week volunteering at Rex Hospital.

In lieu of any cards or flowers we ask that an honorary gift be donated in her name to DogTown, USA which is a sanctuary for abandoned and abused animals and is the largest no-kill animal sanctuary in the world. Donations in Carols honor can be made at www.bestfriends.org.

She was our Mother, Sister, G, GG and best friend. She will be missed beyond words but will remain in our hearts forever.

So, so sorry to learn about Carol's death. I was a classmate at St. Mary's High School and have many, many fond memories of Carol. Too many to mention. She was a good friend and one of the nicest people I knew. The last time I saw her was at our 50th High School reunion. She came with her daughter and we all had a wonderful time. I am so glad she came, it was so good to see her. On behalf of her classmates at St. Mary's I send our sincerest condolences to all of her family and friends. I know she will be missed terribly.
