Obituary For Carl Albert Ellison

A native of Jamestown, NY, Carl was the son of the late Albert Ellison and Adelia Anderson Ellison. He was a graduate of Jamestown High School and Binghamton University. He served in the US Air Force during the Korean Conflict. He was a retired systems analyst for IBM. He also worked for many years at JC Penney�s and as an insurance agent and real estate agent.

Carl is survived by his wife Blanche Ellison; sister Sue Swanson of Florida; daughter Cynthia Ellison of Sarasota, Florida; son Greg Ellison of Las Vegas, Nevada; son Michael Ellison and wife Kim of Clayton, NC; daughters Dana and Andrea L. Ellison of Rolesville, NC; grandsons Michael and Matthew Ellison of Clayton, NC, and many nieces and nephews.

A visitation will be held at 10:00 AM Saturday June 9, 2012 at St. Luke the Evangelist Catholic Church, 12333 Bayleaf Church Rd., Raleigh 27614. Funeral Mass to follow at 11:00 AM.

In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to SECU Hospice House, 426 Hospital Rd., PO Box 1376, Smithfield, NC 27577 or Catholic Charities of the Diocese of Raleigh, 715 Nazareth St., Raleigh, NC 27606.
