Bruce Calvin Vaughan, 74, left this earth on April 6, 2021. He was born on June 13, 1946 in Mineral Wells, Texas to Martha Ann (Midgette) and Jack Calvin Vaughan.

Bruce served his country in the Army and National Guard for 6 years and was stationed stateside as well as in Germany and Italy.

Bruce married Peggy Ann Riley on December 16, 1972. They enjoyed traveling the country after their retirement and were blessed to be able to visit almost all of the continental US as well as Alaska, Canada, Bermuda, and the Bahamas. Bruce loved to travel and often told friends and family of their adventures. He was also an avid sports fan and enjoyed baseball and football.

Bruce is survived by his wife, Peggy. He is also survived by his two daughters, Cheryl (Dustin) Floyd of Springfield, MO, and Kimberly Vaughan of Indianapolis, IN; grandchildren, Lance Floyd of Springfield, MO, Trevor Floyd of Springfield, MO, Megan Vaughan of Indianapolis, IN, and Rik Van der Horst of Oosterbeck, Holland.

A graveside service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, April 9, 2021 at Ephesus Baptist Church, 6767 Hillsborough Street, Raleigh, North Carolina.
