Obituary For Bonnie Gail Crispin

Mrs. Bonnie Gail Crispin, 74, of Blanch, NC, peacefully passed away on Saturday, October 1, 2022. She was the daughter of the late Herman Paul and Mary Sue Smith.

Bonnie was born on June 12, 1948, in Danville, VA. She attended the Caswell County School system's public schools and graduated from Bartlett Yancey High School. Bonnie engaged in school activities, both scholarly and sports related. She was the school's homecoming queen and cheerleading squad member.

Bonnie became Miss Caswell County and represented her community in the state beauty pageant.

After graduating high school, she went to Greensboro College and graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in education. After graduating, Bonnie taught elementary and junior high students before launching her hospitality career at the Pinehurst Resort in Pinehurst, NC.

Bonnie's hotel sales and marketing career spanned over 20 years. She was the director of sales and marketing during that time for the La Pavilion Hotel (now the Roosevelt) in New Orleans; Safaris and Tours in San Diego; The Fairmont hotel in San Francisco; the Ritz Carlton Resort in Laguna Niguel, and the Biltmore in Los Angeles.

She was united in matrimony to Jon Crispin on October 1, 1983.

She is survived by her spouse, Jon, and his son, David, of Chapel Hill, NC. Two brothers also survive Bonnie, Barry Keith Smith of Yanceyville, NC, and Dennis Paul Smith of Blanch, NC., nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

A memorial service will be held at 2 PM on Sunday, October 16, 2022, at the Blanch Baptist Church, 5931 Blanch Road, Blanch, NC 27212. Family and friends are welcome to celebrate Bonnie's life. A gathering with refreshments in the church activity room immediately after the service.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in memory of Bonnie Crispin to Blanch Baptist Church.
