She was married to the love of her life, Vernon L. Dixon, Jr. on April 23, 2011. Vernon preceded her in death on May 2, 2019. Barbie was a highly accomplished sales professional in both the medical and aesthetic fields who was well-respected by colleagues and competitors alike. Through dedication and hard work, she built strong customer relationships and consistently exceeded goals. She had multiple national awards to her credit including the President’s Award from Galderma Laboratories where she worked as a Senior Dermatological Sales Professional.
Evidenced by the incredible outpouring of love, Barbie was one of a kind. Her bright smile lit up any room she entered. Barbie had a magical way of putting others first and her kind, giving heart allowed her to love unconditionally. She was happiest playing with her dogs - Sport and Lily, walking on the beach, cooking with her friends, listening to the music of John Mayer and remembering the wonderful love she shared with Vernon. Barbie was selfless and cared deeply about those she loved. She had a unique sense of humor that brought joy and laughter to those privileged to share her world. She always managed to have a positive outlook on life and inspired her friends and family to do the same. Barbie believed she was destined for a new life where she planned to assist other women in need. That life was sadly cut short and now she rests with her beloved Vernon.
