Tony, Diana and Robin, I am sending you our most sincere thoughts, prayers and blessings! Pete and I had the "fate" of bumping into each other last nite...for the first time since our Big Ten Golf Outing days. It was fateful in terms of the celebration of catching up with an old friend....and fateful in learning of another old friends tremendous loss. I am so sorry I never had the opportunity to meet Anthony...as I can only assume he shared the light that both you and Diana carry...and undoubtedly Robin as well. He so obviously shared your smiles...and what a handsome young man. And to Diana: we are as sorry for your loss.....as we are grateful for your contribution to our son Griffin as his Y counselor. You gave him so many smiles....so many great times! Most importantly, and as I think fate and faith so often conspire to do, I think my running into Pete last nite was more about how important it was to let an old friend and his family know that we are thinking of you and offering all of the love and support we can! Greg, Ang, Griff and Rory Miller

We little knew that morning God was going to call your name. In life we loved you dearly, in death we do the same. It broke our hearts to lose you, you did not go alone, For part of us went with you, the day God called you home. You left us peaceful memories, your love is still our guide And though we cannot see you, you are always at our side. Our family chain is broken and nothing seems the same, But as God calls us one by one, the chain will link again. Life doesn't end with death. And, Nothing beautiful is ever lost.

Anthony is always in my thoughts and prayers. This past weekend I lit a birthday candle at the foot of the alter in his honor that his light may continue to shine. My love and prayers are with Robin, Tony and Diana.

Tony, Robin and Diana, My heart was sadden to hear about Anthony. It was always a treat to see him with his beautiful smile and diamond sparkling eyes. The last time I saw him, I was amazed at how tall he had gotten. I know that you have many wonderful memories of him. Hold those tight in your hearts. Continuing to keep you in my thoughts and prayers, and knowing that God works for good in all things, no matter how hard I think things are, I wish you peace and healing. Let me know if there is anything I can do for any of you. Love and a hug, Diane

I had a couple of classes with Anthony in high school. I wish I had spent more time with him. I saw him in early April at a restaurant and asked him how college was going. He said it wasn't going that well, but he didn't say much more than that. I remember when he recognized a button I had made using the art club's button maker. It was a design from a video game he had also played. That made me feel good, that he recognized it. It would have been nice to see him again. Condolences.

I am so very sorry for your loss. So young, so much promise. Bless you and your family and I wish for you peace and comfort.

Anthony was such an awesome guy. He was so much fun always happy. I was in Leaders Club with him at the YMCA. One time we went on a volunteer trip to go do adopt a highway cleaning up trash. He had me cracking the whole time. He had such a warm heart and he made such an impact on me. My condolences to his family.

Anthony was such a great guy. Super smart, and very funny. We had a very similar sense of humor so its no wonder we got along right off the bat. First time I met him he gave me a "guitar chords" poster. He was always very generous. I'm really gonna miss him.

  • September 01, 2020

I met Anthony through the bowling team more than two years ago. He was kind enough to give me rides to our practices and matches, and never ran out of things to talk about. Whether it was a random musing or something more conversational, he could keep anyone and everyone entertained. I will always remember his smile and how it could instantly brighten up anyone's day. I lost touch with him after he graduated, but he will always be in my thoughts and memories, where he will live on in happiness.

It was such a pleasure to coach Anthony on the Raleigh Charter Bowling Team. He had such an uplifting spirit. I will always remember his bright smile and the time he came to bowling dressed as on over-sized Bob the Builder. May the Lord grant you grace, strength, and comfort during this difficult time. Psalm 18:2: The LORD is my rock, my fortress and my deliverer; my God is my rock, in whom I take refuge. He is my shield and the horn of my salvation, my stronghold.

Happy Birthday in Heaven I wish you were here today even for just a little while so I could say Happy Birthday "Anthony My Friend" and see your beautiful smile. I wish with all my heart I had took the time to talk Then maybe I would have seen your pain Im sorry it took you leaving to hear you But I will NEVER ever forget Our Talk. I got to know you and you got to know me We bonded and share things/memories I was able to make you smile and You allow me to forgive myself. The only gifts today will be the gifts you left behind; The laughter, joy, your love, and happiness... precious memories you gave your family/friends. On Your Birthday I'll do my very best to try and find a happy place... struggling to hide my heavy heart and the tears on my face. I'll sit quietly and remember our talk thinking of you with grace, and love; hoping you're doing ok in Heaven up above. I will help others in your memory and forever keep My Promise to You! Though I knew you only a short time You will always have a place in my heart! May the angels Hug You close and sing you a happy song... and I'll be sending healing wishes to you and your family today and all year long Lisa 🙂
