Obituary For Anthony Messina

It is with profound sadness that after years of his struggles with addiction, Anthony has passed away.

Born in Port Chester, NY, he grew up in Bridgeport, CT. Anthony graduated from St. Joseph High School in Trumbull, CT. He also briefly attended High Point College, High Point, NC. Anthony is predeceased by his father, Anthony Messina. He leaves behind his mother Mrs. Mary Messina of Durham, NC; a brother Mark, a sister Lori (Messina) Moscato and her husband Robert; nieces Christa and Sophia, nephews Nicholas and Ryan, many aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Anthony had a heart of gold, was always kind, and always a gentleman. Fishing was one of his loves, as well as all things to do with nature. He will always be our real-life ‘MacGyver”.

There will be no services at this time and a private memorial will be held at a later date.
