She volunteered with ESL programs and refugee resettlement programs, and was active with the Cooperative Baptist Fellowship from its inception. Before moving back to Raleigh, Anne was also very active with Atlanta H.E.A.L. Following John's retirement, Anne and John were able to travel, and besides many road trips in the United States, they also enjoyed going on cruises to different parts of the world. Anne enjoyed sampling the cuisine of every country, and had fond memories of not only sights, but also tastes from the countries they visited. She is survived by her husband of 62 years, John L. Vidales (Carlos), Raleigh; son-in-law Danny Dansby of Dallas, TX; grandchildren, Carlos Vidales (Angelique) of Boise, ID, Johanna Hinkle (Christopher) of Dallas, TX, Laura (Nan) Gao of Los Altos, CA, Amie Dansby, David Dansby, Ryan Dansby, all of Dallas, TX; and four great-grandchildren, Zelia, Siobh¡n, Paul and Evie. I am sorry for your loss. The bible provides comfort during these difficult times. Revelation 21:3,4...states "And he will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away". Very soon now, we will never experience losing our loved ones in death.
