Anna Catherine Chase, precious daughter of Michael Jason Chase and Ashley Nichole Lucas was born into the arms of her angel at Wake Med North hospital on February 15, 2021.

Though Anna Catherine was unable to spend time with her family at home, she was anticipated with immeasurable joy by her parents, her siblings Sydney Chase and Kyle Chase, as well as her grandparents, aunts, uncles and many cousins who adored her already.

Affectionately referred to as "Shark", Anna Catherine was celebrated daily. She loved to hear her daddy's voice, often responding to the sound of him talking to her. We find great comfort in knowing that one of the things she heard most was the laughter of her family together. Anna Catherine's life was a brief gift given to us that will last to eternity when we will see her again. A private service will take place at Oakwood Cemetery in Raleigh on Wednesday, February 24 at 11am.
