Ann Marie Johnson left the burdens of this world on April 24, 2018. Although she was tired and weary, her unconditional love for other people never ceased: she walked hand-in-hand with her husband across the mountains and valleys of life; shaped a son to have a better life than hers; and was studying day and night to finish nursing school so that she could carry love to countless others. Her husband, Larry Johnson, and children, Alex Allen and Jordan Johnson, especially wish to thank the family and friends who have filled the last few days with love, companionship, and help.

A service for Ann will be held at Hudson Memorial Presbyterian Church in Raleigh, NC on Monday, April 30th at 2:00 PM. Instead of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Durham Rescue Mission which works to change the lives of people suffering from homelessness.
