Obituary For Amy Findley Daughtrey

Amy Susan Findley Daughtrey of Raleigh, NC passed away on June 28, 2016 at the age of 58.

Amy worked for Wake County School System. Amy loved ballroom dancing and playing piano but she was most happy spending time with her husband, her children and her grandchildren.

Amy is survived by her loving husband Mark Daughtrey; three children, Sarah Tucker, Emma Daughtrey and Matt Daughtrey; two grandchildren, Noah Tucker and Katie Tucker; Mother in Law, Carolyn Daughtrey; brother, John Findley; sisters in law, Ellen Findley, Cathy Ledbetter, Kyle Sandy; one brother in law, Scott Daughtery.

She is preceded in death by her parents Jack and Evelyn Findley and Father in Law Lyman Daughtrey.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in her honor to the Frankie Lemmon Center https://www.frankielemmonschool.org/donatenow.aspx or to the North Raleigh Presbyterian Church Pastor’s Discretionary Fund.

    Mark, Sarah and family. I remember when Amy was born and even then she was a very jolly baby. My children, Amy and her Mom spent a lot of vacations together at Ocean City, MD.     We worked at Fred Olds Elementary School with Amy, she was our school nurse. She was a great person and school nurse. She spoke about her family often. Our thoughts and prayers are with the family. Mrs. Teresa Macon (Secretary)
