Mrs. Alberta Di Vittorio, age 94, of Raleigh, NC passed away on Wednesday, December 15, 2021. She was the daughter of John and Genevieve Pusatera. Alberta was born January 2, 1927, in Chicago, Illinois. She attended Saint Xavier Catholic School and was a graduate of Loyola University where she earned a degree in Organic Chemistry at 22 years old.

Alberta was united in holy matrimony to John Di Vittorio. They met when they were in 6th grade! This union was blessed with five children. John preceded Alberta in death on October 17, 2016. Additionally, she was preceded in death by her brother, Tony and sisters, Teresa and Annette. Her life will forever be cherished in the lives of her children, John (Lynne) Di Vittorio of Vancouver, WA; Mark (Diane) Di Vittorio of Vancouver, WA; Linda (Jeff) Webb of Raleigh, NC: Mary (Dan) Di Vittorio of Nashville, TN and Tom (Liz) Di Vittorio of Charlotte, NC and her eleven grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and siblings.

Alberta taught 5th grade Math and Science a St. Henry’s from 1974 to 2000. She was active in her church and school. Alberta loved dancing to Big Band music. She was very active in church and at school. She volunteered frequently including tutoring and crocheting baby hats and blankets for premature infants in the NICU.
