It is so difficult to see such a sweet soul pass from this world. I worked with John for years in IBM Endicott and he was so highly thought of by all of us . John was a quiet gentleman , always offering that beautiful smile to his work mates. I met his wife Kathy years ago, and my heart goes out to her and John's family and friends. I was unaware that John too had transferred to Raleigh, as did many of us in Endicott. God bless you John, rest in His arms. Jean Baxter

I only had a short period with John back in the 70's. I met John through the Williams family and we became fast buds. We shared some fun times together as guys in their 20's do. I haven't seen John since my last visit to their Endwell home many years ago, but that face is the same one I'll always remember. I wish the entire Williams and Rink families a peaceful transition to life without John. Having experienced a recent horrific loss in my own family, I can only say I hope it isn't as painful as that which I'm experiencing! I encourage any of the family to read the book, "The Beauty Of What Remains" by Rabii Steven Leder. My prayers and thought are with all who knew and loved John, he was a great human being who I will always remember fondly. Peace be with you Kathy!!!!!
