Dorotha Mae McNeice Cunningham passed away on July 24, 2021 at her home in Franklinton, NC at the age of 102. The daughter of Guy Otto McNeice and Callie Marie Thomas McNeice, Dorotha was born January 17, 1919 in Wichita, Kansas. Married to William J. Cunningham in 1947 until his death on Dec 25. 2006.

Dorotha was a member of Westside Baptist Church in Wichita, Kansas and served as organist/pianist at the First Christian Church in Ottawa, Kansas from 1988-2005. She moved to Franklinton, NC in 2009 and loved attending Franklinton Baptist Church.

Dorotha is survived by her son, Daniel Cunningham and his wife Gloria, of Franklinton, NC; granddaughter, Jessica Dortch and her husband Mike, of Daytona Beach, FL; granddaughter, Rachel Saar and her husband, Brian of Garner, NC; great-grandchildren, Ruby and Leif Saar; Amber and Wesley Smith; and great-great grandchildren, Jon and Lacey Smith; along with nieces and nephews.

Dorotha was preceded in death by her husband, William; brother, Don McNeice of Mulvane, Ks; sister, Nina Campbell of Wichita, KS; and grandson, Jonathan Cunningham of Durham, NC. A memorial service will be held at a later date.
