Keith and I were great friends during our late elementary and Junior High years. We walked to school together just about every day and we were constantly hanging out after school. In the summer we rode our bikes all over Davison and beyond and the conversation would seemingly drift to the previous days Detroit Tiger baseball game and the latest late night rerun of The Twilight Zone. Together we played just about every game and sport imaginable. We spent countless hours racing boats and beer cans down the Black Creek and it was almost a given that we would sneak out in the middle of the night during one of our backyard camping adventures to get a warm donut at the bakery. Keith was very smart and was placed in the upper math and English classes at school and in 6th grade I remember he came in third place in the county spelling bee. (He went out on the word tobacco and his Mom kidded him about this). Our last meaningful conversation came a few years ago through facebook when he rubbed it in that he got the winning hit against my team in a playoff game in little league. I told him that remembered and I was glad that it was him that got the winning hit. He thanked me and said that meant a lot. My memories and stories could go on for hours and I will relive those times in the next days, months and years to come. His friendship will always be a part of me. Rest in Peace . Joe Buysse

A memory I will never forget is traveling out west with my dad and Margret sitting in the front seat of a Volkswagen truck and Keith and I sitting in back of the pickup. It was in the summer, hot, no air conditioning just little vents from the window with camping gear all around us. Looking back, I wouldnt change a thing. I love you Margret. My condolences to his children and his sisters, Karen and her family and Kris and her family as well. Love you all Janet (Frelander) Driesenga

To: Margret, Karen, Kris, and family of Keith, It is devastating to learn of Keiths passing. May he have eternal peace. I remember fondly the times we spent together as children. Thinking back, I cant remember a single time Keith was ever mean or teasing us. He was such a kind, smart, thoughtful, and gentle soul. I was always impressed how he served our country as an adult, and about his work in measurements and standards something he taught me a bit about. I shall never forget him. Our thoughts and prayers are with him and with you at this sad time. Jonathan Farr and Family (cousin of Keith)

I met Keith through the disc golf community in Zebulon several years back, and if Keith was in my group, we were able to share a few laughs. My Condolences to Keith's family, he was so young... rest in Peace good sir.
